Join us for the launch of The Joy Lab, a new intergenerational series at Unity of Oak Park where people of all ages gather to explore creativity, build meaningful connections, and grow together.
Each session features a unique theme experienced through art, storytelling, mindfulness, and creative expression, offering simple practices you can carry into everyday life.
August Session: Treasures of the Heart Sunday, August 27
Slow down, share stories, and create meaningful keepsakes while discovering simple rituals that nurture connection and belonging. Families will leave with beautiful keepsakes and heartfelt traditions—a living reminder of the love, hope, and belonging they share. Whether you come on your own, with family, or with friends, you'll find a welcoming space to create, connect, and discover joy across generations.
September Session: Beyond the Mask Sunday, September 20
What do we show the world - and what lies within? In this imaginative, intergenerational workshop, children, teens, and adults will use mask-making, mindfulness, storytelling, and reflection to explore the many layers of who they are.
