Take a little time for yourself during this welcoming Community Open House and Reiki with CG Therapy & Wellness. Enjoy a complimentary 15-minute Reiki session, connect with others, and explore a restorative wellness practice.

Reiki is a gentle energy practice offered through light touch or with hands held above the body, intended to encourage relaxation, grounding, and a sense of balance.

Your host, Candice Gillett, MPH, LSW, is a social worker, Reiki practitioner, yoga instructor, and owner of CG Therapy & Wellness. She is dedicated to making restorative wellness practices accessible to communities throughout Chicago.


Whether you’re curious about Reiki or simply looking for a moment to pause and recharge, you’re warmly invited. All are welcome!

Learn the Steps, Join the Fun

Get ready to hit the dance floor at the Flower Power Gala by joining our Line Dancing Class! Join us for a fun afternoon learning popular line dances with an instructor. Beginners are welcome—come learn a few steps and enjoy time together.


Dance for a Cause

Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Proceeds support our Gala fundraiser, helping sustain Unity of Oak Park, our community-funded spiritual and community center.

Trunk or Treat: Costumes, Candy & Community Fun!

Join us for Trunk or Treat at Unity of Oak Park on Sunday, October 25, from 12–1:30 p.m.! Bring your family, invite your friends, and come in costume for an afternoon of Halloween fun.

Fun for All Ages

Enjoy tricks, treats, crafts, and music, with food available for purchase. It’s a chance to get creative, connect with neighbors, and celebrate together!
