Living our Mission - Love and Service in Action

At Unity of Oak Park, one of the ways we live our values of compassion and service is through our monthly Meal Making for Housing Forward.

On the first Sunday of each month, volunteers gather after service to prepare and package meals that support individuals and families experiencing housing insecurity in our community. It’s a simple act of care that makes a meaningful difference.

Join us in Giving Back

Whether someone contributes by making a monetary donation to help cover food costs or by rolling up their sleeves to help prep and package meals, every contribution matters. As the saying goes, many hands make light work—and together we create something truly impactful.

This gathering is also a beautiful opportunity for connection. Volunteers work side-by-side, share conversation, and leave knowing they helped extend kindness beyond our walls.

When: First Sunday of each month, 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM Where: Unity of Oak Park, Lower Level (entrance on the southwest side of the building)
