In the month of January we celebrate the spiritual gift of Faith, the faculty in you that is your spiritual eyes and your spiritual fingers. This means that you can see the invisible and feel the intangible. When you realize the meanings of the words: "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen," you will know that your dreams and aspirations do not depend on anything in the outer. God has given you the desire, then it is possible to achieve, no matter what anyone else says or does. You have within you all the Faith you will ever need. It is your divine assignment to exercise that Faith in the same way that you exercise the muscles in your physical body. The more you use it the stronger it will become. We have all seen or known about people who seem to have unstoppable and unwavering Faith. They are so sure of God’s power within them that they can speak the word and their word becomes law.
Faith is a faculty of your higher self. It is a spiritual gift which is necessary for us to quicken in order to transform our lives. Faith is the capacity of mind to believe beyond what it currently believes. In the simplest language, Faith is our supreme affirmative faculty. It is our ability to say yes to God and good with all our hearts and mind.
Through the power of Faith we enter into the spiritual kingdom within us making contact with our greater good. It aligns us directly to the underlying substance of the universe. Jesus said, “Whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have Faith. According to your Faith be it done to you. Your Faith has made you well.” These truths which reveal to us our ability to say Yes to God and good. This is the year that your dreams will come true, if you are willing to do the necessary work. Exercise your faculty of Faith until it is so strong that you will be afraid of absolutely nothing. You can do it with Faith in God in You.
“If you have Faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move; nothing will be impossible to you.” Matthew 17:20
