“Happy are those who find wisdom, and those who get understanding.”
“Judge not by appearances, but judge with right judgment.”
The month of March we recognize our spiritual gift of Judgement/Wisdom. Wisdom is intuitive knowing, spiritual intuition; the voice of God within as the source of our understanding. Wisdom/judgement has two parts – listening to God for guidance and having the ability to come to conclusions through discernment.
When you have a sincere desire to let the mind of Christ, divine intelligence, be manifested in you, you can bring this intelligence into active operation through positive prayer and entering the silence of your soul. The Christ Spirit, working through you, can accomplish unlimited good. Wisdom/Judgement was one of the faculties most prized by Jesus. He continually pointed to the importance of judging by the standards of the higher self, rather than by the examples set by the world. His judgement and wisdom went beyond information or knowledge; rather he expressed the Wisdom of Spirit.
The color yellow is a symbol of wisdom. In its deepest hue it is the color of Gold, which in Biblical symbology means deity in manifestation. Yellow is the sunshine color and blesses the earth with growth, warmth, and gladdens the spirit bringing joy. In its pale form it is considered highly spiritual, symbolic of the aura seen around venerated icons. For this reason, it represents, “enthusiasm,” taken from the Greek meaning, “God within.” When you are exercising enthusiasm, you are exercising the God Spirit and Love. Gold is a yellow and represents the peace seen often in our times of meditation, entering the silence.
As you travel across the sea of life, do not wait for storms. Seek the Wisdom that comes from knowing the Christ within you. Wear or carry something yellow to remind yourself of Wisdom/Judgement your Spiritual Gift from God.
