Taking classes at Unity of Oak Park will assist you in your everyday walk as well as with your spiritual journey. Upcoming Classes

The Science of Getting Rich
Wed., Nov. 7, 14, 28, Dec. 5, from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
Many believe that the book "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles was the impetus behind the phenomenon movie "The Secret." This three-week workshop explores the details for manifesting our desires. While "The Secret" covered, in great depth, the aspect of visualizing, “The Science of Getting Rich” lays out a roadmap to move consciousness from a dormant dream state into activities that support receiving the prosperity of our dreams. This class promises to be interactive, lively and informative. Participants will be provided with dynamic tools allowing them to work toward manifesting success.  Facilitated by Rev. R. Ken Turner, Senior Minister at Unity of Chicago South.

Workshops

Mission, Vision & Core Values
Sat., Dec. 8, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Ministries thrive when they are clear about who they are, who they serve, and where they are going. The purposes of this workshop are: to support us in the creation of the future we want to experience, to provide direction for our leadership selection and future decision making, and to create guidelines for “how do we walk our talk” (what core values do we demonstrate)?  Join our Interim Minister Rev. Phil Smedstad for this six-hour day of discernment and discovery, as together, we create our new Vision and Mission statements and our new Core Values. If you think of yourself as a part of this spiritual community, make sure to join us so that your voice is heard as we let Spirit reveal through all of us what It is calling us to be as we go forward.  A potluck lunch will be served. Please sign up in the Book Room if you plan to attend and indicate the premade, precooked dish you plan to share.
