MEET US

Rev. Helice Greene is currently serving as Co-Minister at Unity of Oak Park and has served in this capacity since 1992.

Following ordination in 1982 she served at Unity of Fairfax, Virginia, for ten years. She has served as President, Secretary and Regional Representative for the Eastern Region. She has also served on the Board of Trustees of the Association of Unity Churches.

She currently serves on the Licensing and Ordination Committee of the Association of Unity Churches. She graduated from Ottawa University where she majored in Religion and Counseling.

Rev. Richard Billings became the minister at Unity of Oak Park in 1967 after being ordained as a minister in 1966.

Prior to his work with Unity of Oak Park, he served as associate minister at Detroit Unity Temple. After two years in Detroit, he combined the Lansing Center and East Lansing Unity groups into what is known today as Unity of Greater Lansing.

He attended Ohio State University where he majored in Art and Education. He has lectured for Unity throughout the United States and for many groups in other countries.

LICENSED UNITY TEACHERS

Unity of Oak Park is grateful for the Licensed Unity Teacher program which provides the Unity ministry with leadership and service. A Licensed Unity Teacher has successfully completed a course of study and testing as set forth by Unity School of Christianity. During their training to become a Licensed Unity Teacher they serve an internship within their ministry as established between the Licensed Unity Teacher Candidate and the Minister:

CHAPLAINCY MINISTRY

Unity of Oak Park is blessed to have dedicated individuals step forward to serve the members of our church.  Chaplains are trained to support and pray with you, and hold what is heard in confidence.  Chaplains attend Sunday services and special services and are available afterwards to pray with those who ask for prayer.  To leave a message for one of our Chaplains, please call the church.
